Uptdate

Since my last blog my dad and I went to Nashville to buy a 2001 Chevy Suburban. It has been awesome so far.
Its a 4x4 V8, and the weather has not stopped us yet. It's too nice (and big) to skid logs with, so we are still looking for a 4x4 truck.

Speaking of skidding logs, our logger Billy Harris said if it got warm enough (like all the way up to 32! lol) he would start cutting our logs. So we should get our logs by the end of the month or first thing February. If any one wants free log debarking experience come on down. lol

The other day dad bought a chainsaw (not in the Lowes parking lot late at night [thats another story]) It looks like its going to be a good one. It's has a huge engine and a 20 in bar but can take a 24 in bar (bar= length of saw blade) It cuts through wood like butter. don't worry I already have steel toed boots.

A friend from church went through a gallbladder surgery. she came through it ok. But now her whole family is sick...blah!
Pray for them, as they have a baby coming very soon.

We are going to have people working at Blue Ridge 24 hours around the clock all this week. Its great that we are getting so much work, but since we are still down to a skeleton crew everyone has to work extra hard.
I have night shift so pray for me and everyone working that we will stay alert and safe.

Just finished reading a book on christian history. All I can say is WOW! I would encourage every one to study church history.
Are you a Baptist? Do you know how the Baptist started? Do you know what early Baptist believed? Same with any denomination. You might be surprised.

I cleaned my 3X5 room last night. its more like 5x7 but with the dresser and bed it's pretty tight. At the previous house I had a room that was about 12x10 and that stayed pretty messy. So you can only imagine what my room is now.
but last night at 2 o'clock (I'm preparing myself for night shift) I decided to try to be a more clean and organized person.
I guess you could call it my new years resolution. We will see if it sticks.

Inspirational verse for today...
Isaiah 9:13-21
13For the people turneth not unto him that smiteth them, neither do they seek the LORD of hosts.
14Therefore the LORD will cut off from Israel head and tail, branch and rush, in one day.
15The ancient and honourable, he is the head; and the prophet that teacheth lies, he is the tail.
16For the leaders of this people cause them to err; and they that are led of them are destroyed.
17Therefore the LORD shall have no joy in their young men, neither shall have mercy on their fatherless and widows: for every one is an hypocrite and an evildoer, and every mouth speaketh folly. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.
18For wickedness burneth as the fire: it shall devour the briers and thorns, and shall kindle in the thickets of the forest, and they shall mount up like the lifting up of smoke.
19Through the wrath of the LORD of hosts is the land darkened, and the people shall be as the fuel of the fire: no man shall spare his brother.
20And he shall snatch on the right hand, and be hungry; and he shall eat on the left hand, and they shall not be satisfied: they shall eat every man the flesh of his own arm:
21Manasseh, Ephraim; and Ephraim, Manasseh: and they together shall be against Judah. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.

anyway thats a general update on life for now.

here are some pictures that are totally unrelated to what I just wrote....

Just a picture of a thistle bush.

Our new "burban" has a digital thermometer.
You know it's bad when you get in and all it says is "XXX ICE"

  2. Admin@simpletruthbiblefellowship.com is usually what I use.

Yeah I'm working on the 40in press, I like it a lot better than working in the bindery.

Thanks, I've really gotten into photography lately. It's really fun, and who knows maybe it could be a way to make a little money on the side when I get better.

    Love ya,
    Bub
