A New Baby

The Young family from our church is Jubilant and singing Hosannas to the Lord because He has given them Wisdom! (I know, I'm bad) The Youngs welcomed Wisdom into the world last night around 11:30 pm. He weighed almost 9 lbs. It's kinda of funny because the men from our church had our "once in a blue moon" dinner, and we prayed for the Youngs, and I made a mental note after we left to make sure I let Samantha Young know that I was praying for her and the baby on Sunday.

For those of  you who don't know the Youngs and don't get my joke in the first sentence. They have a daughter named Jubilee and another daughter named Hosanna, and they just had a baby boy named Wisdom. So there you go.

For those of you who know me and my supposed idiosyncrasies. I have been slowly getting over my disdain for onions. For dinner I had beef, squash, potatoes, peas, and big slices of onions all mixed together. I was able to shovel whole fork-fulls of it into my mouth instead of picking through it like a chicken (no pun intended).

  1. Blane! I am getting over my intolerance of Tomatoes! I don't think I'll be eating tomato sandwiches any time soon, but I'm getting there. : )

  2. Sweet! Yeah i don't think I will ever be down with raw onions

  3. lol. disdain for food is not something we have in common.... i'll eat almost anything... as long as it's not too slimy or organy.... liver is gross and i will NEVER eat escargo. blech. but the regular food will i never turn away.... lol
