Someone told mom how to make chocolate in a mug in three minutes. You need a microwave to do it and we don't have one at home so I had to do it at work. It was very tasty although a bit dry. I think that next time I will stop the microwave just short of three minutes and maybe add a bit more milk. The cake I made would have been perfect with ice cream to moisten in up a bit, but on it's own it was a little hard to swallow but still very yummy.
Here is the recipe for the cake if you want to try it for yourself at home.
- 1 Coffee Mug
- 4 Tablespoons flour
- 4 Tablespoons sugar
- 2 Tablespoons baking cocoa
- 1 Egg
- 3-4 Tablespoons milk
- 3 Tablespoons oil
- 3 Tablespoons Chocolate chips (optional)
- Small splash of vanilla
Mix all of the dry ingredients together and then add the wet mix well and stick it into the microwave for three minutes. You can google "3 minute chocolate cake" and find different variants including a gluten-free recipe. If you try it out and let me know how it turns out.
