After Church last Sunday I hit the road to go down to the Wake Forrest, NC area for the Sound Doctrine for a Glorious Church conference put on by the NCFIC where we studied through the entire 2nd London Baptist confession in 5 days.
In the end I wrote almost 7000 words and 26 pages of notes. I learned a lot and had a lot of things clarified that I was uncertain on before.
The time spent going through the confession was invaluable, but to me the time spent in fellowship with like minded believers was just as amazing. It was great to see friends and meet new ones at the conference, but I most enjoyed spending time with my host family and the other guy they hosted as well.
Here are a few pictures of the younger ones in the Orr family. (my host family)

And their oldest daughter has a photography blog you can check out here
I had an amazing time this week and after approximately 60 hours of training in doctrine, wonderful late night discussions, and intense games of scrabble I am absolutely exhausted.
